Hello! My name is Leah Nascimento and I am a kindergarten teacher here at King! This is my seventh year teaching at King. Before coming to King, I taught for three years in Minnesota. I graduated from the University of Minnesota with both my bachelor’s and master’s degree in elementary education. I love everything about kindergarten and all the exploring, learning, and fun we get to have!

When I am not at school or “Pinteresting” new ideas for my classroom, I enjoy spending time with my husband Thiago and my two year old son Noah. Together, Thiago and I like to explore Ann Arbor and travel the world. I have always loved traveling and learning about new cultures and trying new foods. I have especially loved traveling to Brazil to visit my husband’s family. I grew up in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, and I am a DIE HARD PACKER fan, Go Pack, Go!
