Hello! Welcome to fourth grade! This promises to be an exciting year as children transition to upper elementary. I am excited about the opportunity of providing your child with a meaningful fourth grade experience and I’m looking forward to getting to know you and your children better. I have a Master’s degree in Literacy from Michigan State University and have teaching endorsements in elementary education and special education. I also have a Bachelor’s degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology from Western Michigan University. This will be my 21st year of teaching in the Ann Arbor Public School system, and my third at Lawton. Outside of teaching, I enjoy a wide variety of interests such as spending time with my family, skiing, biking, golfing, reading, gardening, and much more. I look forward to sharing my interests with your child, while at the same time connecting with your child’s interests!
