Hello Lawton families! My name is Hollie Shaw. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from The University of Toledo and a Special Education endorsement in Emotional Impairment from Eastern Michigan University. I have worked within Ann Arbor Public Schools for the past 17 years. I taught special education in another district for 3.5 years before coming to Ann Arbor. I began my Ann Arbor Public Schools career as a special education paraprofessional and long term substitute before making the move back into the classroom as a Resource Teacher. I have had the opportunity as a paraprofessional and long term substitute to work at several Schools within Ann Arbor (Logan, Mitchell, Haisley, Clague, Burns Park, Eberwhite and Lawton). This is my 5th year teaching at Lawton Elementary! I am excited to be a part of the Lawton Leopard community.
